The article starts from the reflection on this post-industrial era, and the need for the creation of meanings within the organization, within a framework of postmodern and critical analysis. In this context, it explores the concept of symbolic dimension in organizational space-dynamics, developed by Matos Martins, and its relations with the so-called organizational culture, which has been fundamentally disclosed by Schein, and then continues with the contributions of Hatch, who strengthens this dimension from the symbolic-interpretative and postmodern paradigm. The main aspects of organizational theory in the framework of postmodern organizational studies and the contribution of critical thinking in the study of management are presented. Finally, these proposals are questioned based on the new trends of remote work and intelligent technologies.

摘要
