This paper presents an experimental and numerical analysis of the mechanical properties of ABS samples produced through 3D printing using the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) process. Three types of mechanical tests — tensile, flexural, and notched Charpy impact tests — were performed on samples manufactured with identical production parameters to evaluate their behavior under various loading conditions. In parallel, numerical simulations of these tests were conducted using the LS-DYNA computational code to accurately replicate the experimental conditions. The results reveal a significant agreement between the experimental data and the numerical simulations.

摘要

This paper presents an experimental and numerical analysis of the mechanical properties of ABS samples produced through 3D printing using the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) process. Three types of mechanical tests — tensile, flexural, and notched Charpy impact tests — were performed on samples manufactured with identical production parameters to evaluate their behavior under various loading conditions. In parallel, numerical simulations of these tests were conducted using the LS-DYNA computational code to accurately replicate the experimental conditions. The results reveal a significant agreement between the experimental data and the numerical simulations.
