This chapter provides the readers with a clear understanding of the social development of how loans and grants are utilized in Jamaican communities with reference to various examples. The chapter also delves into our understanding of how these opportunities contribute to healthcare and how they encourage greater opportunities from community members. There is also special emphasis that is placed on the governance framework, particularly on accountability. It also takes us to the avenue of the community developing a certain level of ownership which is important to encourage greater sustainability.
