Susac Syndrome
摘要
Susac syndrome is a vasculopathy of affecting the ear, eye, and brain, thereby causing deficits in vision, hearing, and cognition. The peak age of onset is 30 years (range 14–63 years). Tests of auditory (and sometimes vestibular) function, vision, and brain imaging are helpful in narrowing the differential diagnosis. Treatment with immunomodulatory agents is often attempted.
