Corticosteroids
摘要
Corticosteroids have a limited role in otoneurology. Perhaps the most common use is as a migraine abortive for migraine-associated vertigo. The use of corticosteroids in the management of vestibular neuritis is controversial, and current meta-analyses suggest that this is no more efficacious than placebo. Rarer uses of corticosteroids include the management of central nervous system lymphoma, demyelinating disease, bacterial meningitis, paraneoplastic syndromes, and central nervous system vasculitis.
