The article presents the results of a study of the mechanical properties of samples obtained by selective laser melting. Impact toughness and tensile strength tests were performed on samples made of AlSi10Mg alloy. Particular attention is paid to comparing the mechanical characteristics of samples printed in different directions. The effect of heat treatment on the strength and impact toughness of samples is also studied. The results of the work can be useful for the development of additive manufacturing and a more comprehensive understanding of the properties of materials.
