Advanced Classification of Cyber Security Threats on ICT Systems
摘要
In the rapidly evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats, the need for comprehensive and up-to-date classification frameworks for understanding and categorizing threats to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) systems is paramount. Researchers worldwide explore cyber threats in different sectors, from banking and financial to mobile devices and applications, but, in general, it is all related to ICT systems. However, existing cyber threat classification models are incomplete and do not cover modern cyber threats. This paper addresses this gap by proposing an expanded and refined classification framework encompassing a broad range of cyber threats, including emerging and evolving threats on ICT systems. Our framework builds upon existing models while addressing their limitations. As a result of the research, an improved model of the classification of cyber threats was developed, which provides a more accurate and detailed identification of threats in modern ICT systems, which, in turn, will contribute to increasing the level of cybersecurity. This approach will help organizations better understand emerging and existing threats, enabling them to implement more effective cyber defense strategies.
