This paper describes the digital transformation of providing governmental services. E-government opportunities are discussed. After that, we compare providing governmental services in the traditional way and providing governmental services online. Business processes AS IS and TO BE have been built. We chose BPMN notation for business process modeling because it enables us to illustrate the activities of each actor. In the next stage, we discuss the advantages of a new method of providing governmental services. For instance, convenience for citizens, cutting costs, and waiting time for service provision. To outline the pluses of providing governmental services two simulation models are illustrated. First shows the situation when governmental services were provided in the traditional way. The second gives us information about providing governmental services after the digital transformation. We run the simulation models to compare the results of two ways of providing governmental services. In conclusion, we talked about the benefits of providing governmental services online. Also, we discussed how to continue our research.
