Angry Times and Modern Discourse
摘要
Anger is considered both a danger to society and also a correct response to some injustices and provocations. Modern discourse, both popular and academic, seems both full of anger and dominated by a concern about that anger. It is difficult to understand why our society seems to be angry and what should be done about it. We are faced with questions about who should be angry, on whose behalf, regarding what things, in what amount, and how should it be expressed without endangering civil society.
