Modern technological methods of mining have a negative impact on the environment, therefore the process of reclamation after the completion of mining operations is of great importance. And here we are talking not only about the preservation of fauna and flora in the territory of the quarry, but also about material costs to avoid the consequences of geotechnical impacts. The traditional methods of reclamation work are biological and mining. The mining-technical stage is always the primary stage, and the main costs come from removing and preserving the fertile layer of land, as well as working with slopes. The article deals with the issues of conservation of the rewash discard storage facility on the example of JSC “Mikhailovsky GOK named after A.V. Varichev”, Kursk region, Russia. Conservation of the technogenic deposit is planned to be carried out by laying on the surface of the tailing dump a waterproofing mixture consisting of waste polyethylene and polypropylene, whereby the first component may be up to 99% and the second 1%, or in other ratios. This mixture is then heat treated until melted. These actions will create a screen on the surface of the tailings pond that will prevent surface water from entering the body of the man-made facility, thereby preventing dusting and loss of valuable components.

摘要
