This paper presents an innovative approach to enhancing education through the integration of augmented reality (AR) within an interactive mobile application designed for a university botanical garden. The application, called “BotanyTour,” leverages AR to provide real-time information about plants, offering features such as location-based search, plant scanning, 3D visualization, and multilingual support. The case study demonstrates how AR can enhance student engagement by creating immersive, personalized learning experiences. The results show that the application not only improved user interaction with botanical content but also contributed to higher knowledge retention and overall satisfaction.
