Health information systems (HIS) are important for improving patient care, resource management, and decision-making. Despite their importance, Morocco’s HIS remains underdeveloped, limiting its ability to address evolving healthcare challenges. This study assesses the current state of Moroccan HIS by analyzing data from Scopus and Google Scholar. The analysis revealed deficiencies in data integration and digital infrastructure. Drawing on successful international strategies, the study proposes recommendations for enhancing Morocco’s HIS, focusing on policy adjustments and system reforms. The findings offer insights for policymakers seeking to improve healthcare outcomes through an efficient HIS.
