In the automotive industry, supply chain sustainability has emerged as a critical challenge, especially within the automotive wiring sector. This study introduces the VIKOR method, a multi-criteria decision-making approach, to assess and compare the sustainability performance of three supply chain models in the Moroccan automotive wiring industry. The study evaluates three alternatives: Traditional, Lean and Blockchain enabled Supply Chains, based on four key sustainability criteria: environmental impact, cost efficiency, product quality, and supply chain resilience. The core novelty of this study lies in integrating blockchain technology into the sustainability process, it has demonstrated a substantial boost in transparency, traceability, and environmental performance. The findings reveal that, in comparison to conventional models, the Blockchain enabled Supply Chain offers a better compromise solution, more effectively balancing the conflicting needs of the selected criteria. These results highlight how blockchain technology might improve sustainability in complicated supply chains, particularly in emerging markets like Morocco. While providing insightful information to supply chain managers and legislators in the automobile industry.
