Streets are an integral part of any city enabling people to move from one place to another. For many reasons, people walk from one place to another on these streets sharing them with others. When people travel on foot on streets, they face many issues with respect to their safety and comfort. For enabling people to move safely and comfortably, special amenities have been constructed along the streets. Due to many shortcomings, these amenities cannot provide the services expected from them. For remedying these shortcomings, some analytical tools are required to assess the conformity of these structures to standards. This article presents an online tool developed for assessing the pedestrian physical safety and comfort provided by streets. This tool was built after a rigorous scientific investigation and subjected to rigorous testing for its performance and user-friendliness. The test results show very promising with respect to its design, implementation and performance.
