Designing Consistent Business Capability Models: A Method for Aligning Value Streams, Capabilities, and Information Concepts
摘要
In today’s competitive landscape, organizations must align strategic goals with operational execution to swiftly adapt to market changes. Business architecture management offers a structured framework for understanding and improving various facets of an organization through models like value stream maps, business capability maps, and information maps. Although several enterprise architecture frameworks promote the use of such models, they lack systematic methods to align them. This leads to confusion, redundant investments, and increased regulatory risks. This research addresses this gap by developing a design science-based method to ensure greater consistency across business architecture models, facilitating more effective decision-making and organizational adaptability.
