This paper introduces the OpenBPT platform, which provides conceptual modeling and analysis capabilities to the academic community. The purpose of this project is to support teaching and research in information systems engineering and business process management by integrating existing open-source tools and providing additional services, where appropriate. The web-based platform offers multiple graphical modelers and model management. In addition, an extensible software architecture based on microservices enables the integration of research prototypes for model analysis. This paper discusses the current state of OpenBPT and plans for future development.
