Despite the growing number of success stories in Additive Manufacturing (AM), many companies still struggle to adopt the technology effectively and sustainably. A key barrier is the lack of adequate knowledge, which limits broader implementation. Existing solutions like external training, internal programs, and online learning have limitations and often fail to provide comprehensive education. This chapter introduces a holistic approach: a hybrid training model that integrates both online and offline modules, combining internal company training with externally led sessions. It outlines a strategy for effectively implementing this model within organizations, where online and in-person training complements each other to maximize learning outcomes. Beyond equipping designers and engineers with essential skills, the ultimate goal is to develop and execute a cohesive AM strategy in collaboration with company management. The chapter concludes by showcasing this model through a Design for AM program offered by AMEXCI and AM Academy.
