Integrating UAS into Smart City Transportation Systems: A Primary Study
摘要
Given the rapid expansion of drone operations in various sectors, such as infrastructure monitoring and package delivery, integrating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into intelligent city transportation systems presents a significant challenge. This integration requires innovative and sustainable solutions prioritizing safety, security, environmental impact, and cost-effectiveness. The global GPS reference system is the foundation for the airspace framework and defined paths while supporting GIS mapping. To effectively implement this concept, extensive research is necessary. This research focuses on developing an autonomous trajectory-tracking control system to accurately track drone trajectories, identify and resolve conflicts autonomously, ensure safe drone following, and enable formation flight. This comprehensive approach to drone operations within intelligent city transportation systems addresses the complex challenges of integrating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into urban environments. It emphasizes the need for advanced technologies and methodologies to sustainably enable efficient and safe drone operations.
