Toward a Theory of Educational Capture
摘要
To evolve the analytical framework of elite capture with respect to the influence on schools, the theoretical development of education capture is outlined. This includes a mapping of the connection and orientation across network elites, policy formation, media, school board, and school-based influences. The major three domains of influence: (a) networks, (b) media, and (c) school boards are discussed as independent and mutually reinforcing domains that lead to the systematic understanding of education capture.
