摘要
Employees are an essential asset for an organization or company because employees are dynamic in various things, such as innovation, adaptation, implementation, design, and so on, which can support the organization’s progress and development. Institutions or organizations must be able to support employee performance in various ways or methods. This research was motivated by indications of a decline in employee performance within the Pasuruan Regency Government, such as increased indiscipline, absence from work, delays in carrying out tasks, and so on. This research explores two critical variables that theoretically influence employee performance, namely infrastructure and work environment, but there is an intervening variable as a moderator, namely job satisfaction. The respondents of this research were 136 people taken from a population of 427 or the total number of Pasuruan Regency Government employees. The research method used is path analysis with a PLS (Partial Least Square) approach. This research shows that the infrastructure variable has the most decisive influence on job satisfaction compared to the work environment. With indicators of machine and equipment availability, namely all equipment used to support work processes in the office (X1). Meanwhile, suppose. In that case, the job satisfaction variable moderates the influence of exogenous variables on employee performance. Infrastructure still has a more decisive influence than the work environment, with the availability of transportation facilities to support work (X1) and the existence of representative physical buildings to support employee performance and job satisfaction (X5). Leaders in the Pasuruan Regency Government must pay attention to the infrastructure and work environment variables, especially indicators with high loading factor values.
