The prevention of cancer with the application of artificial intelligence involves the use of risk prediction algorithms and population-based medications. It is possible that the accuracy and ease of use of tools powered by artificial intelligence might be beneficial to the fields of pathology and radiology, both of which are essential to the process of accurate early diagnosis. Adaptive therapy, personalized cancer treatment, and the discovery of new medications are all areas that artificial intelligence may be able to assist in. The use of telemedicine and decision support systems that are powered by automation contributes to an improvement in the monitoring of patients. Despite the fact that these problems have a great deal of promise, it is essential to find solutions to the problems of data bias, constraints in infrastructure, and ethical concerns in order to ensure fair adoption. This article takes a look at the uses of artificial intelligence that have been shown to be effective in oncology. The purpose of this article is to explain how AI might assist in reducing cancer inequality.
