Promoting Activity-Based Self-Learning Techniques among Primary School Teachers and Students in Assam
摘要
In the twenty-first century, every child will need the knowledge, skills, and competencies to adjust to this new, complex, knowledge-driven, technology-laden, innovation era, and children in rural schools in India are often not exposed to technologies such as these. Therefore, this chapter focuses on a project that helped teachers and students learn how to create and use audio-visual (AV) aids (bilingual instructional videos for primary school learners) as self-learning material and how to create instructional videos as self-learning materials. Additionally, the project examined the effectiveness of activity-based self-learning techniques among primary school learners and the development of awareness among primary teachers in Assam regarding the basics of video production.
