The role of women in agriculture worldwide is an important discussion point, not just for academics, but for those working in the agricultural sector. Agriculture is one of the economic activities that can lift poor people in the Global South. However, to date, investment into the sector is low, and those practising within the industry still need help to receive inputs and other resources that are key in helping them grow the sector. Additionally, agriculture as a sector is facing numerous challenges that are arising as a result of climate change.
