Echo-Space: Inclusive Orchestral Performance Space with Visual Media
摘要
The Echo Space Audio-Visual Performance Concept invites participants to experience classical music performances while simultaneously viewing real-time sound visualization imagery. Both performers and audience members can also see each other through the semi-transparent projection film within the space. The projected visual content is designed based on the narrative of the musical pieces, the characteristics of the performance venue, and elements such as the performers’ movements and emotions. The program was performed with two different focuses, localized narrative and accessibility, and demonstrated its value in both expanding the dimensions of messaging in real-time music performance and enhancing musical understanding for the hearing impaired.
