In the context of home fitness, users’ demand for accuracy in movements and prevention of sports injuries is increasing. Multimodal interaction technology significantly improves user experience and efficiency in movement learning through the integration of visual, auditory, and tactile senses. Optimizing collaborative strategies for multimodal interaction design has become a key direction for improving user experience and action learning efficiency. This study takes home dumbbell fitness as an example, with visual, auditory, and tactile modalities as the research core, exploring their synergistic effects in home dumbbell exercise guidance, and studying the impact of different modal combinations on user experience and guidance effectiveness. Analyze the behavioral characteristics and preferences of users in multimodal interaction through user research, and explore how the presentation of modal information can reduce information interference and enhance user experience; Optimize the integration strategy of multiple modal guidance based on user emotional feedback; By introducing tactile feedback, real-time motion correction and user immersion are enhanced. At the same time, further clarify the role of multimodal interaction design in personalized guidance and user stickiness enhancement, and propose optimization strategies that meet user needs. The research results indicate that the combination of vision and touch has the best effect in motion correction, while the addition of hearing is more suitable for improving rhythm and focus. The optimized multimodal interaction strategy significantly enhances users’ fitness experience and participation.
