AI can also recognize images, faces, and emotional expressions. This new technology can even create seemingly original art. How we use artificial intelligence becomes even more compelling as we move away from intelligent chatbots on our laptop computers to a machine in the form of a human or animal companion. Still, this seduction does not end with a more sophisticated and intelligent robot possibly making coffee for us in the morning. Our unconscious harbors a darker relationship with artificial intelligence. We hope AI might be more than a tool that assists us in our labor or even provides answers to a healthier life.
