Argumentation, Fallacies and Language
摘要
This chapter introduces a selection of argumentation and fallacy theories with an emphasis on the role of language. The aim is to provide a synthetic overview, starting with Aristotle and ending the chapter with recent developments in argumentation. This chapter will show how argumentation and the study of fallacies have evolved through time. It will also illustrate that language has always played an important role from the early beginnings.
