AI-Generated Digital Art in Commercial Public Spaces: A Case Study of Wanda Plaza Wukesong Beijing

This paper explores the design and application of AI-generated digital art in commercial public spaces, focusing on an exhibition at Wanda Plaza Wukesong in Beijing, China. The exhibition, titled ‘Pattern Art from Ancient to Modern: AIGC Empowered Innovative Digital Works Exhibition of Chinese Blue and White Pottery’, showcased the potential of AI in enhancing user engagement and cultural communication within commercial spaces. Findings demonstrate that AI-generated art effectively attracted visitors and stimulated interest in the mall’s offerings, as evidenced by a significant increase in foot traffic and online engagement during the exhibition. This study highlights the effectiveness of AI in transforming commercial spaces into dynamic cultural hubs, offering insights for future applications of AI in art and design.
