Designing mechanical parts by generative methods is a new method based on artificial intelligence, helping designers create a CAD model with the optimal shape and mass while ensuring loading conditions. This paper gives information about generative design and application for designing mechanical parts besides introducing software and a process for generative design, especially using the generative design for mechanical parts in a wheelchair. Finally, from all the results, the one that can be manufactured will be chosen.
