Competition Law and Policy in the Western Balkans: Comparative Assessment
摘要
This chapter offers a comparative assessment of the development of competition law systems in the Western Balkans (WB) countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H), Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia) from the 1990s to the present. It builds on preceding national chapters that provide detailed accounts of developments in individual jurisdictions. Our findings are substantiated by empirical data on the institutional capacities of national competition authorities (NCAs) and their enforcement records during the period 2012–2022, as presented in the national chapters.
