摘要

In recent years, Seoul and Dubai have introduced their city custom fonts which have gradually become symbols representing highly developed urban tourism. China being a country abundant in tourism city resources, still sees its city custom fonts in the primary stage of development, leaving a vast market space yet to be tapped. This paper delves into the design methodologies for custom fonts of Chinese tourism cities, identifies implementation approaches and explores the research trajectory. Taking Zhuhai as a case. Relying on sentiment analysis in semiotics theory, it applies text mining to extract characteristic words from tourists’ reviews and establish related topics. Design elements are extracted through thematic content and graphic grammar. By integrating lexical semantics, the emotional imagery design of city custom font is achieved, with AIGC technology enhancing efficiency. Text mining technology suits cities with a developed tourism industry, but not those in the initial stage of tourism development. City custom fonts should have design solutions tailored to their own features according to characteristic words and themes. Currently, AIGC can only assist in city custom font design and cannot meet high standard design demands independently.
