Effects of Virtual Healing Space on Restoration in a Space Station Environment
摘要
Virtual healing space has played a crucial role in psychological restoration field. Fueled by digital technology, current research has improved that virtual reality is considered as a tool to enhance psychological support in isolated and confined environments. Despite its function has confirmed, there is a lack of validation of potential in the micro-gravity environment. This study investigates the effectiveness of virtual healing spaces within the simulated environment of a space station. By means of creating different types of healing spaces, the researchers learned about the various psychological recovery characteristics of the subjects. We also focused on how to stimulate the psychological environment of astronauts. A pilot study is planned to validate the effectiveness of virtual healing space, and ideas for further design implications are discussed.
