With the rapid development of virtual reality (VR) technology, VR healing interactive spaces have attracted widespread attention as an emerging means of psychological therapy and health regulation. In VR healing environments, sound design not only enhances immersion, but also effectively regulates users’ emotions and psychological states. This study takes the VR healing work “Wonder Garden” as an example to explore the principles and practices of sound design based on the ASMR phenomenon, especially the sound production process of the “Deep Sea Mirage” scene. By analyzing the environmental sound effects, music design, and interactive sound in the scene, this article reveals the multidimensional role of sound in VR healing spaces: guiding emotional resonance, promoting psychological relaxation, and enhancing immersion. Research has shown that sound design plays a crucial role in enhancing user experience, effectively supporting the emotional transmission and interactive functions of VR healing spaces. This study provides practical basis and theoretical support for the sound design of future VR healing spaces.
