The Emotional Space of Public Opinion in Virtual Reality: Embodied Interaction Design Between Digital Swarming and News Emotions
摘要
In the era of new media, social platforms such as microblogs have become the “public sphere” of public discourse, and the rapid dissemination of hotspot events has led to frequent reversals of public opinion, and the ensuing phenomenon of “digital swarming” has had an increasing impact on the logic of individual thinking and is prone to triggering the ensuing phenomenon of “digital swarm” has an increasing impact on individual thinking and logic, and is prone to triggering network violence. To cope with this phenomenon, this study innovatively proposes a three-dimensional interactive experience based on the theories of affective turn and embodied cognition. The study takes the public opinion of hot events as the design subject, and uses virtual reality technology to develop an embodied interactive public opinion and emotion virtual space with deduction, traceability, and a sense of immersion. Users interact with the system through “comments”, body movements, or language to observe the fluctuation of public opinion and feel its impact in real time. The system provides dynamic feedback on the spread of emotions, reversal nodes, and the degree of influence of public opinion, helping users visualize the evolution of emotions in digital swarms, prompting individuals to reflect on the way they express their emotions, and then rationally express their comments, thus contributing to the improvement of the online public opinion environment. In the future, participants will be invited to experience the evaluation and further explore the long-term impact of virtual reality technology on individuals’ rational thinking and emotional expression.
