Overcoming Barriers to AI Integration in Healthcare Systems: A Strategic Approach
摘要
The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare systems holds transformative potential, offering improved diagnostics, personalized treatments, and enhanced operational efficiency. However, widespread adoption faces significant barriers, including technological limitations, regulatory challenges, ethical concerns, and resistance from stakeholders. This study explores these obstacles and proposes a strategic approach to overcoming them, ensuring seamless AI integration in healthcare. Key challenges include data privacy and security risks, lack of standardized protocols, and the need for interoperability across different healthcare platforms. Additionally, issues such as algorithmic bias, transparency, and trust in AI-driven decisions hinder acceptance among medical professionals and patients. This research presents a framework that emphasizes regulatory compliance, ethical AI development, stakeholder engagement, and workforce training to facilitate AI adoption. By leveraging case studies and expert insights, the study highlights successful implementation strategies and policy recommendations. The findings suggest that a collaborative approach involving healthcare providers, policymakers, and technology developers is essential to bridging the gap between AI’s potential and its practical application. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on AI in healthcare by providing actionable strategies to mitigate barriers and accelerate responsible AI deployment, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and healthcare system efficiency.
