Advancing Modular MRI Coil Technology: Design and Implementation of an 8-channel Low-Noise Preamplifier Box for High-Resolution Imaging at 9.4 T
摘要
This work describes the development, implementation, and tests of a modular preamplifier interface box for MRI in a 9.4T preclinical scanner. The interface preamplifier box was characterized on the workbench and tested in the scanner with a 8-channel receive-only array. The results showed that good preamplifier decoupling, and active detuning isolation were achieved, allowing high spatial resolution T2* images of marmoset’s brain sample. In addition, this preamplifier box allows future applications using different multichannel coil geometries.
