Development of an Electrostimulator with Gait Detection Circuit
摘要
The human gait cycle is one of the most investigated patterns due to its importance in human life. Conditions that lead to modification or difficulty in reproducing the normal gait pattern are diverse, such as stroke, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, pregnancy, menopause, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases. The aim of this work was to develop an electrostimulator, with an angular detection circuit, to aid in the propulsion force of gait. In this sense, a pulse generator circuit was designed, in order to provide an adequate signal amplification system. A gait detection circuit was also planned so that the electrostimulation must be triggered only in certain phases of the gait cycle, in accordance with the angle between the leg and patient frontal plan using and accelerometer sensor. The proposed device showed itself as a promising tool for promoting gait enhancement.
