A novel, highly transmissible virus emerges and starts to spread. We have no vaccine, no effective drugs, and don’t fully understand how the virus affects people and is transmitted. How do you think the world would react? What would governments do? What would businesses do? What would you do? We ask these questions to contextualize the systemic danger that is still presented by a pandemic and to motivate an honest reflection about how to prepare for future pandemic threats in a world still grappling with the last one.
