This chapter addresses the dual face method for solving the standard LP problem, including the basic facts, the search direction, the update of the dual face solution, the pivoting operations, the optimality condition, and the dual face algorithm in the tableau and the revised form. We also present the so-called hybrid of the primal and dual face methods.
