Methodology for Analyzing the Traction Dynamics of a Self-Propelled Tractor Chassis During Coupling with Cross-Axle Linkage of Mounted Machines
摘要
An analysis of the research on the traction dynamics of tractor self-propelled chassis (TSPCH) when aggregated with mounted machines using inter-axle mounting is presented. When TSPCH is aggregated with mounted machines via inter-axle mounting, it is subjected to a system of forces and moments in the longitudinal-vertical plane that affect the coupling and traction-power characteristics of TSPCH. It has been determined that the possibilities for redistributing mass in a tractor are limited by the need to ensure its stability and maneuverability. In contrast, in TSPCH, both axles are additionally loaded by the weight of the machine mounted within the basic space of TSPCH (inter-axle mounting). The study found that, unlike tractors, the additional loading in TSPCH is carried out by the weight of the frame of the mounted machine, which is rigidly attached to the chassis frame, while only the sections of operational elements with supporting rollers, pivotally connected to the frame, remain in a position close to equilibrium. During traction calculations, experimental slip values are used. It is proposed to account for a part of the rolling resistance force, which is caused by the normal additional loading of TSPCH from the force interaction of mounted machines, when calculating traction resistance.
