UAV Components and Ecosystem
摘要
This chapter provides an overview of the key elements that constitute Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and the broader ecosystem that supports their development and application. It begins by detailing the basic components of UAVs, including airframe structures, propulsion systems, sensors, cameras, navigation, control systems, communication systems, and power supplies. The discussion extends to the ecosystem surrounding UAVs. For example, the roles of manufacturers, regulatory bodies, and the diverse applications of drones across industries. Furthermore, the chapter addresses the integration of cloud services for UAV management, data processing, mission planning, and the concept of the Internet of Drones (IoD). This chapter provides insights into the interconnected components and ecosystem that enable the effective operation of UAV technology.
