In the article the authors consider the influence of LegalTech on the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution. The fourth industrial revolution is characterized by the transition to cyber-physical systems. It forms new opportunities and new challenges for economic development. Under the influence of informatization, the structure of the world economy is changing: many traditional industries are losing their importance, new industries are rapidly developing, and new production relations are being generated. The first part of the article explores the technological opportunities of Industry 4.0. Special attention is paid to the challenges and opportunities that these technologies present for economic growth and development, as well as the necessary strategies for their effective utilization. The authors found that investment in the modern Russian economy has a direct impact on economic activity. New industrial technologies have an impact on the investment process. Its three main types and possible consequences of the development of the fourth industrial revolution for modern society are considered. The methodological basis of the study was the general scientific principles of system approach, comparative analysis. The analysis of the impact of technologies characterizing the fourth industrial revolution on increasing the productivity of industrial companies has been carried out. The application of these technologies not only allows to significantly reduce the number of unplanned equipment shutdowns; the time spent on reactive elimination of accidents, while providing proactive, preventive maintenance. In addition, the transformation of industrial production affects the business models of industrial companies.
