Reputation Based Wormhole Avoidance in IWSN
摘要
An eminent technology for modern automation systems is Industrial wireless sensor networks (IWSNs). While wireless sensor networks provide many advantages for industrial automation systems has stringent requirements which makes it difficult to deploy them. A novel routing mechanism for wormhole avoidance called the reputation-based routing is discussed in this paper along with its simulation results. Reputation-based routing offers a promising approach for enhancing network performance, security, and fairness. It works on the principle of node reputation, path evaluation and routing decision for wormhole avoidance. However, carefully addressing the challenges associated with accurately assessing and maintaining reputation scores is crucial for its successful implementation. The application areas of using this routing method makes it a promising technique for acquiring a reliable, safe, efficient, and secure Wireless sensor network.
