Biosynthesis of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Using Neem (Azadirachta indica) Leaf Extract
摘要
Every day, there’s a continuous production of new nanoparticles, prompting researchers to explore their unique physical and chemical characteristics. Notably, advancements in nanoscience have led to the development of eco-friendly and sustainable products. Among these, iron oxide nanoparticles, with their diverse forms and properties, stand out. Recent studies have focused on utilizing green synthesis methods to create iron oxide nanoparticles from various plant sources, uncovering their numerous biological activities. In this particular investigation, iron oxide nanoparticles were safely synthesized using neem leaf extract. The resulting product underwent thorough analysis using techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, Zeta sizer, SEM, and XRD crystallography. The analysis revealed that the average size of the iron oxide nanoparticles was 75 nm.
