School failure and dropout are critical issues affecting students worldwide. Smart schooling uses technology to enhance the educational experience and aims to mitigate these problems. This paper investigates the impact of a conversational agent on student performance by analysing feedback from four sessions. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students expressing increased engagement and improved academic performance by the end of the experiment. The study involved the extraction and analysis of the five most common verbs, nouns and adjectives used in student feedback. This analysis showed that interactions with the conversational agent were well received, demonstrating the potential of such technology to provide personalised support and foster a more engaging learning environment. The project highlights the effectiveness of conversational agents in improving student outcomes and provides insights into the integration of sentiment analysis in educational contexts to support student success.
