Aiming at the limited ability of the passive suspension type Mars rover mobile system to detach in soft terrain, the lack of effective isolation mechanism for faulty wheels, and the problem of the vehicle body easily touching the ground and causing damage to the bottom, a control optimization design of the Mars rover active suspension system based on the grey wolf algorithm is proposed. The performance of the Mars rover in complex environments was verified through digital simulation methods. 99The simulation results showed that optimizing the active suspension controller through intelligent algorithms resulted in more stable vehicle lifting and wheel lifting, effectively improving the rover's performance and fault tolerance.
