Circular Economy Transformation Through Intelligent Systems: A Systematic Review
摘要
Transitioning to a sustainable future demands a fundamental shift in resource management, emphasizing the principles of the circular economy (CE). This transformation is guided by the 10Rs framework, which includes strategies such as smarter product use and manufacture (Refuse, Rethink, Reduce), extending product lifespan (Reuse, Repair, Refurbish, Remanufacture, Repurpose), and sustainable material applications (Recycle, Recover). Intelligent systems (IS), encompassing adaptive applications and services capable of learning and evolving, present a transformative opportunity to optimize resource management and accelerate the transition to a CE. This systematic literature review explores the pivotal role of IS in enhancing resource efficiency and advancing sustainability. By analyzing current research, the study uncovers the synergies between these emerging fields and offers novel insights for fostering a circular and sustainable future.
