The Influence of Block Toys on the Attention Development in Preschool Children
摘要
This study aims to explore the relationship between block toys and the development of attention in preschool children, examining the influence of block toys on the development of attention. By reviewing previous research, a block toy specifically designed to enhance attention in preschool children was developed and a controlled experiment was conducted in a kindergarten. The experimental group engaged in a one-month block toy training program, while the control group did not receive any block toy training. The results showed that after one month of block toy training, children in the experimental group outperformed those in the control group in terms of attention divided, attention orientated, and attention sustained, with significant differences observed. However, no significant difference was found in attention selective. This study confirms the effectiveness of block toys in improving children’s attention and demonstrates that block toys play a positive role in the development of preschool children’s attention quality, helping to enhance their attention development.
