We propose to discuss space-time isogeometric approaches to various thermomechanical problems. This work is mainly based on the Ph.D. thesis of Christelle Saadé (see [22]). For all these problems, we have used a continuous Galerkin form, which is well suited here due to the relative regularity of the examples considered. Both linear and non-linear situations are explored at small or finite strain. We show that the space-time approach with B-Splines can be attractive and opening up new possibilities compared to standard schemes.

摘要

We propose to discuss space-time isogeometric approaches to various thermomechanical problems. This work is mainly based on the Ph.D. thesis of Christelle Saadé (see [22]). For all these problems, we have used a continuous Galerkin form, which is well suited here due to the relative regularity of the examples considered. Both linear and non-linear situations are explored at small or finite strain. We show that the space-time approach with B-Splines can be attractive and opening up new possibilities compared to standard schemes.
