Evaluating Consumer Markets: Macro, Micro, and Cultural Analyses
摘要
Evaluating market opportunities effectively through research is a significant task in international marketing management. In this chapter, we discuss the steps involved in conducting effective market analyses, underlining company capabilities, and the macro, micro, and cultural analyses of prospective markets. We highlight the dimensional frameworks that managers use to conduct cultural analysis of their markets and offer a discussion on the mechanisms that help overcome the special challenges researchers face when conducting cross-cultural consumer research.
